The American Association of Independent Music (A2IM) has announced a partnership with Txttunes.com to create an online platform for their label members to feature Grammy nominated artists from the independent music sector.
Throughout the Grammy voting period, A2IM label members will be able to upload nominated artist material, which will be made available to both voters and fans.
"This is the first time that fans and Grammy voters will have one place to listen to Grammy nominees from independent labels,” Ttxttunes senior VP Terence Dover said in a statement. “The online listening station allows voters to easily review independent nominees while also providing music fans the opportunity to find out about Grammy nominated music that may have not made their radar yet."
Txttunes offers computer users the ability to purchase digital music through a cell phone payment platform.
