Law firm Loeb & Loeb LLP announced today that it hired John P. Strohm as a senior counsel of their Music Industry Practice out of their Nashville office.

Strohm formerly worked for the Alabama-based Johnston Barton Proctor & Rose LLP, where he practiced in the firm's Business and Tax Group. 

In addition to having extensive experience negotiating agreements related to music publishing, recording, distribution, and emerging media, Strohm has worked as a professional musicican both as a solo artist and with such bands as the Blake Babies, Antenna, The Hello Strangers and the Lemonheads.

"John's experience as a recording and touring artist will greatly inform his work for our clients based in Nashville and around the world," said Loeb & Loeb's Nashville office founder John T. Frankenheimer, Chair of the firm's Music Industry Practice Group in a statement. "Our team in Nashville is poised to handle almost any legal or business matter that arises in the music industry and John will be a great asset to that practice, as well as becoming an integral part of our national entertainment and media practice."
