Jon Platt, president, North America Creative at EMI Publishing and a member of Billboard's Power 100, was honored at the eighth annual SESAC pre-Grammy brunch.

Producer and songwriter Bryan-Michael Cox was on hand to host the event, which honored Platt for his outstanding achievements in music, which has included signing and developing some of the biggest hip-hop and R&B artists in the industry, such as Jay-Z, Kanye West and Usher.

In addition to Cox and Platt, a number of SESAC execs were on hand, such as SVP Trevor Gale, VP of Writer/Publisher Relations Linda Lorence Critelli, and President/COO Pat Collins, as well as songwriters Nate "Danja" Hills (whose credits include "SexyBack") and Angela Hunte (responsible for "Empire State of Mind").
