Indie911 Partners With APM Music

April 24, 2007

By By Todd Martens, L.A.

Online social network Indie911.com has partnered with APM Music, a joint venture between EMI Music Publishing and BMG Music Publishing, to provide access to independent and unsigned content for television, films and video game companies.

Any revenue that results from a licensing agreement will be divided between APM and Indie911, with the latter making payments directly to the artists, according to an Indie911 announcement. Indie911 reviews all music submitted to its site, and APM will further review content before adding it to its library.

If selected, APM pledges to market the music to its host of clients, which ranges from television stations, film studios and video game houses, among others.
