Rob Cavallo Named WMG Chief Creative Officer

Producer Rob Cavallo has joined Warner Music Group as chief creative officer, where he will be an exclusive producer for the label and an A&R executive.
"I am excited we'll have the ability to benefit from his exceptional talents and look forward to a long-term collaboration that will benefit many WMG recording artists," says Lyor Cohen, WMG's vice chairman and chairman and CEO, Recorded Music, Americas and the U.K.
Cavallo began at Warner Music Group in 1987 as an intern. In his 16-year-career, he has worked with such bands as Green Day, Paramore, Kid Rock, Dave Matthew's Band, Adam Lambert, Meat Loaf and Uncle Kracker. Cavallo's productions have sold over 125 million units worldwide and garnered six Grammy awards, an Oscar, a Golden Globe and numerous nominations.
