Arista Nashville director of national promotion Bryan Frasher segues to Sony BMG Nashville sister label BNA Records as VP of promotion. He replaces Rick Moxley, who exited the label on April 16.
Frasher, who has been with Arista since 2004 and director of national promotion since July 2006, reports to Butch Waugh, executive VP of Sony BMG Nashville.
In a prepared statement Waugh called Frasher "incredibly innovative" and a "tremendous leader."
"There is such an incredible future at hand, and I am inspired by the music we have now and the new music I know is coming," Frasher added.
Based in Nashville, Frasher will oversee radio promotion for Kenny Chesney, Kellie Pickler, Pat Green, Terri Clark, Sarah Johns, Blaine Larsen, Craig Morgan, and the Lost Trailers.
A professional musician and tour manager for nine years, Frasher worked with Tanya Tucker, Lee Roy Parnell, and Chely Wright. Before joining Arista Nashville as Midwest regional, he served in a similar capacity for Warner Bros. Nashville.
His replacement at Arista Nashville has not yet been named.
