AOL Tops Music Sites For January

February 11, 2008

By By Jennifer Netherby, L.A.

AOL was the most-visited music site in January based on unique visitors and page views, according to comScore Media Metrics. AOL page views were up 32% in January to 427 million views.

AOL said the growth was due to music editorial features such as a new "What's That Song" feature that gives information on where songs from TV, Movies, etc. come from. Other popular features included photo galleries and music programs Session's, The DL, 3x3 and The Interface as well as a Grammy hub launched during the month and new song lyric search function.
