ReverbNation Creates Facebook Widget

July 18, 2007

By By Antony Bruno, Denver

Indie-focused online music repository ReverbNation has created a version of its service specifically for the Facebook social network.

Called "My Band," the ReverbNation app allows participating artists to post and sell an unlimited number of songs as well as provide tour dates and sell tickets from their Facebook profiles. Fans can copy the application and post it on their respective sites as well. Existing ReverbNation artists can transfer their existing information directly into their Facebook profile with no extra setup.

The ReverbNation catalog has about 70,000 tracks at this time.
