By By Antony Bruno, Denver

Apple has finally brought the iTunes Store music service to Mexico. The service contains the same music, video and apps available in 77 other countries, at similar pricing. Most tracks will cost 12 pesos (about 91 cents), albums 120 pesos (about $9) and music videos 24 pesos ($1.83).

The service will feature both regional and international music. Featured Mexican artists include Paulina Rubio, Vicente Fernandez and Zoe. Music from all four major labels and various independents is licensed for the service.

Additionally, Apple is making iTunes gift cards available in 200, 300 and 600 peso denominations (about $15, $23, and $46 respectively). They will be sold at retailers such as Liverpool, Mixup, Office Depot, El Palacio de Hierro, Sanborns, and various Apple retail outlets.

Podcasts include Mexican-produced shows from Televisa, MVS Television, El Universal and Grupo Reforma.
