IODA Launches Label Stores

May 05, 2008

By By Cortney Harding, N.Y.

Independent digital distributor IODA has launched Label Stores, a download storefront that enables labels and artists to sell digital music directly to consumers. The offering was announced at the Digital NARM conference in San Francisco.

IODA Label Stores is an expansion of company's existing suite of integrated marketing and distribution products and services, and will be fully integrated into the company's Rightsholder Dashboard. The Label Store also features real-time pricing, an array of widgets, and multi-currency pricing.

Last year, while participating in the beta program for IODA Label Stores, several IODA clients such as Paper Bag Records, Om Records, and ABB Records launched storefronts to drive their direct-to-consumer commerce strategies.

IODA Label Stores is also available to IODA's physical distribution partners via its D3 Distributor Platform.
