By By Jen Wilson, London

Wind-Up Records, home of Creed, Evanescence and Seether, has signed a marketing and distribution deal with EMI Music Germany for the world outside North America.

The first release expected under the new deal will be an album from the reformed Creed, entitled "Full Circle." The band's first new material in seven years, it will feature the original line-up of frontman Scott Stapp, guitarist Mark Tremonti, drummer Scott Phillips and bassist Brian Marshall.

"I believe that this partnership will bring both companies success and offer a worldwide platform for our artists," said Edward Vetri, president of Wind-up Entertainment New York, in a statement. "EMI's global approach to sales and marketing will provide us with an international point to launch our artists in a strategic, coordinated manner. Wind-up prides itself on a commitment to artist development and EMI's similar values will only increase international opportunities and cross-company promotions."

Distribution outside North America previously went through Sony Music Entertaiment.

Uli Muecke, head of new music and VP of marketing at EMI Germany added: "We are very proud of this international partnership, which was piloted by EMI Music Germany. Artists like Creed, Evanescence and Seether are an exciting addition to our roster and we look forward to giving them our support and expertise as an international repertoire source and strong strategic partner for globally-selling artists."

The Wind-up roster also includes Finger Eleven, Cartel, Hawthorne Heights, Emily Osment, Stars of Track and Field, and Thriving Ivory.
