Cherry Lane Music Publishing has inked a worldwide, long-term administration deal with film composer Klaus Badelt.

Badelt has composed music for more than 25 major Hollywood films, including "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl."

Under the deal, the publisher will administer Badelt's interests in music for such films as "The Promise," "Kingdom in Twilight," "The Wedding Party" and "16 Blocks."

The parties were brought together by Cherry Lane joint venture partner Joel Sill.
