Blog Network MOG To Add New Web Site Services

October 14, 2009

By By Antony Bruno, Denver

Music-focused blog network MOG expects to add a music streaming, download and Internet radio service to its site by Thanksgiving, according to a company announcement.

Dubbed MOG All Access, the music service will be fully Web-based and cost $5 per month in return for unlimited music streaming and five free downloads per month. It will also include an Internet radio service, and a number of user interface and music discovery features that the company will not yet discuss.

MOG built the service both internally and in collaboration with a few key service partners that it will not yet reveal. It has also secured licensing deals with all four major music labels, independent groups IODA, The Orchard and Beggars Group, and music publishers.

The company expects to provide access to 5 million songs at launch.
