Chrysalis Sees FY Results Ahead Of Own View

By By Tresa Sherin Morera, Reuters

British music publisher Chrysalis Plc said on Friday it expected its full-year results to be slightly ahead of its expectations, aided by good performances in both Music Publishing and Lasgo divisions.

The company, which owns songs by David Bowie, Blondie and Gnarls Barkley, said there were good chart performances from the Gossip, Bat for Lashes and the Horrors' in the second half.

This, coupled with the first half performance, would result in net publisher's share (NPS) growth on both a reported and constant currency basis, the company said.

The company, which has an unused debt facility of 37.4 million pounds ($61.2 million), said it continued to review catalogue acquisition opportunities to further enhance its NPS.
