Sony Music Entertainment has selected Azuki Systems to create mobile versions of select Web sites. The first to be optimized for mobile viewing will be Michael Jackson's official site. The mobile version of Jackson's site includes news, photos and streaming access to music videos like "Billie Jean" and "Beat It."

Additional artists will be announced in the months ahead. The mobile optimized sites initially will only be accessible by such smartphones as the iPhone, Palm Pre, BlackBerry Storm and Android-powered devices. Sony says it will extend support for additional phones with mobile Web browsers by the end of the year.
