Cracker Barrel To Offer Alan Jackson Collection

October 22, 2009

By By Chris M. Walsh, N.Y.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store will offer the Alan Jackson Collection, a 40-plus piece assortment of lifestyle items created in conjunction with Jackson, beginning Nov. 2.

The collection features menswear and womenswear, food items, collectibles, an Alan Jackson Signature Rocker and other exclusive items, including a CD, according to a press release. The CD, "Songs of Love and Heartache" includes two previously unreleased songs, "That's What I'd Be Like Without You," and "Nothing Sure Looked Good On You," as well as 10 other songs.

The Jackson collection is the first time Cracker Barrel has developed a complete line of merchandise around an artist but the retailer has offered exclusive CDs since 2003. Cracker Barrel has released projects from Alison Krauss and Union Station, Josh Turner, Amy Grant, Sara Evans, and Charlie Daniels, in the past few years.
