Frenchkiss, !K7 Partner Outside North America

Frenchkiss Records has partnered with Berlin-based !K7 for priority releases outside North America.

The first release will be the Antlers' debut set "The Hospice," on Oct. 23.

"It's great for Frenchkiss to have access to such a strong international structure that !K7 can provide," said Frenchkiss founder Syd Butler in a statement. "With the !K7 team we feel our artists will receive the attention and push they need outside the US."

"We are very proud and excited to have Syd Butler and his team work with us," added !K7's CEO Horst Weidenmueller. "It is our mission to make Frenchkiss and the artists on the label as popular throughout the rest of the world as they are in the States."

Frenchkiss Records was established by in 1999 and signed acts including the Dodo's, Passion Pit, Cut Off Your Hands and Les Savy Fav.

The !K7 label group operates within a global network of office and distribution units, and it runs four independent labels: !K7 (electronic music), Gold Dust (hip-hop), Strut (funk/soul/disco) and Rapster (urban).
