National Geographic Links With Kobalt

Nat Geo Music, the music division of National Geographic Entertainment has signed with the Kobalt Music Group to globally represent and provide full-service publishing administration for Nat Geo?s library of more than 16,000 original music clues.

Nat Geo Music, formed in 2006 under the direction of National Geographic Entertainment president David Beal, has expanded to include not only the music publishing catalog but also a growing music production library, music supervision services, full-service record label, live events, an international music and lifestyle cable channel, a world music Web site and original network programming.

The division programs music from every corner of the planet and includes artists such Ben Harper, Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, Natacha Atlas, Cesaria Evora, Angelique Kidjo, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil and many more.
