VidZone Tops 200 Million Music Video Streams

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) says that its music video service VidZone has delivered more than 200 milllion videos via PlayStation 3, during the streaming service's first six months of operations.

More than 2 million people have downloaded the VidZone application in 18 countries, according to SCEE.

Users are able to access music videos on demand, create playlists and stream to a PlayStation Portable (PSP) via remote play.

The content includes repertoire from independents and majors, and it has featured music video premieres, sessions, interviews and live footage from acts including Groove Armada, Jamie Cullum, Kasabian, Placebo, the Prodigy and U2.
