Primary Wave, Reveille Ink Deal

October 22, 2007

By By Susan Butler, N.Y.

Primary Wave Music Publishing has entered into a two-year marketing and administration agreement with Reveille, the independent production company
that produces "Ugly Betty," "The Office" and other television programs.

Under the deal, Primary Wave will administer the music publishing rights held by Reveille for its television programming, which is distributed in more than 100 countries. The first Primary Wave-Reveille collaboration will be for the primetime series "American Gladiators," scheduled to air on NBC in 2008.

Larry Mestel, chairman/CEO of Primary Wave, says the deal "provides us with an opportunity to take advantage of the significant music publishing opportunities in television, film, video games and online content. By forging creative and strategic agreements with companies like Reveille, we will continue to expand the reach and further enhance the value of our music publishing assets."

Other shows produced by Reveille include "The Biggest Loser," "Nashville Star," "The Tudors," "30 Days" and "Shear Genius," among others.
