Fresh off their new streaming partnership with Google, digital music providers Lala and MySpace have scored exclusive access to several tracks from a variety of labels and artists as part of a bid to help promote the new Google music search feature.

Artists including Tim McGraw, Mos Def, Phoenix, Zee Avi and Major Lazer are providing free digital downloads through Google's partners for select tracks, and will promote their availability by encouraging fans to use the Google search engine to find them.

Additionally, more than a dozen others acts are providing access to other songs that can be streamed via Lala and MySpace through Google search results. They include the David Aude remix of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi," the live version of Linkin Park's "New Divide," and Norah Jones' "Young Blood," along with other tracks from the likes of Artic Monkeys, Bon Jovi, AFI, Kings of Leon, Green Day, Paramore, Weezer, and more.

In a blog post announcing the news, Lala says the exclusive deals are designed to "showcase the new Google functionality."
