The Who Join 'Rock Band'

More news on the upcoming Rock Band music simulation videogame. The game will feature the entire "Who's Next" album from The Who available only as a digital download direct to the game console.

While the game will ship with a number of songs for gamers to play along with immediately, Electronic Arts and developer Harmonix are also making additional music available for purchase and download after its release on a week-by-week basis. "Who's Next" is the first post-purchase content to be announced, as well as the first full-length album available.

Additionally, EA unveiled the first 16 songs that will ship with the game. They include:
The Who "Won't Get Fooled Again"
Mountain "Mississippi Queen"*
David Bowie "Suffragette City"
Black Sabbath "Paranoid"*
Blue Oyster Cult "Don't Fear the Reaper"
The Ramones "Rockaway Beach"
Rush "Tom Sawyer"*
Bon Jovi "Wanted Dead or Alive"
Nirvana "In Bloom"
Stone Temple Pilots "Vasoline"
Weezer "Say It Ain't So"
Foo Fighters "Learn to Fly"
Metallica "Enter Sandman"
The Hives "Main Offender"
The Strokes "Reptilia"
Queens of the Stone Age "Go With the Flow"
