November 14, 2008

By By Chris M. Walsh, N.Y.

"Live with Regis and Kelly" is calling all on aspiring musicians, composers and songwriters to take a shot at re-working the show's theme song, win $100,000 and perhaps get a break in the music business.

The new theme song will be part of the show's overhaul. It's going hi def on January 5 and will feature a new graphic, a new show opening along with the new theme song.

In addition to taking home $100,000 and having music played on "Live," the winner will meet with an agent from William Morris Agency and sit down with L.A. Reid, chairman of Island Def Jam Music Group.

The deadline to enter "Live's One Hundred Grand Theme Song Search" is Dec. 5. Full details and official rules are available on "Live's" Web site, liveregisandkelly.com.

"Live with Regis and Kelly" airs every weekday morning in more than 200 markets across the country.
