Report: Apple Readies HD Radio Push

According to a story at iLounge.com, an independent provider of information about all things iPod- and iPhone-related, Apple plans a push during the Macworld Expo event in San Francisco next month for HD Radio-equipped boom boxes that have iPod docks and iTunes Tagging technology.

As R&R reported in September, iTunes Tagging allows consumers who hear a song on their local HD Radio stations to preview, buy and download it later on iTunes. CBS Radio, Clear Channel, Cumulus, Cox, Entercom and Greater Media have all embarked on the process of installing iTunes Tagging technology.
