Grunblatt Named President Of E1 Music

Alan Grunblatt has been named president of E1 Music, replacing Bob Frank, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

Grunblatt, who has served as GM and executive VP and has made his reputation with urban music, will now have the titles of E1 president, rock and urban. He reports to E1 CEO Michael Koch. Meanwhile, E1 VP of metal Scott Givens will report to Gunblatt.

Grunblatt "has been a loyal executive and a true rainmaker for us for 10 years, and I am very pleased to announce his promotion to president," Koch said in a statement.

In other moves, Michael Healy, formerly executive VP of finance and operation, has been named executive VP/GM. He reports to Koch and Grunblatt. Also, Chuck Mitchell, VP of Jazz and adult Music, will now oversee Susan DelGiorno, GM of E1 Classics; and Hugh Fordin, president of DRG Records. Mitchell will report to Koch as well.
