eMusic Passes 300,000 Subs

eMusic says it now claims over 300,000 subscribers, up from a mark of 250,000 four months ago. The company says it also has added 90 new labels and aggregators to its roster of more than 13,000 labels.

Among the names added to the eMusic roster are world music label Luaka Bop,
Spanish indie label Siesta, metal specialist Relapse, Swedish pop label Labrador, and international aggregator World's Fair, which distributes the indie pop label Rough Trade and indie hip-hop label Def Jux.
