StudioNow Services Target Music Clients

July 18, 2007

By By Charles Riley, L.A.

Online video editing firm StudioNow is setting its focus on the music industry with services geared for those seeking alternative ways to produce low-cost videos.

The firm is a web service that allows users to upload video and photos to its Web site. The materials are then accessed by freelance members of StudioNow's Editor Network who take submitted material, edit the files and make a finished version available for purchase. Editors are available twenty four hours a day.

The company's clients currently include labels from all four majors: EMI's Capitol Records Nashville; Universal Music Group's Decca Record Company; Sony/BMG's Christian division, Provident Label Group; Warner Bros. Raybaw Records.

The web-based platform should produce content ready for posting on popular web destinations like youtube.com and myspace.com.
