Ticketmaster Launches Affiliate Program

November 27, 2007

By By Mitchell Peters, L.A.

Ticketmaster has launched a new program that allows users in the United States to earn commissions from tickets sold through Ticketmaster.com.

Users who register at ticketmaster.com/affiliates will be given access to customized Ticketmaster widgets, which can be posted on personal Web sites and within e-mails. The search buttons, banners and link engines are designed to draw traffic to ticketmaster.com for upcoming concerts and events.

As a benefit to registered users, Ticketmaster will give commissions for ticket sales that originate from links on Web sites and e-mails. A $20 ticket purchase will earn a commission of 25 cents, while a $50 ticket purchase earns 50 cents. User accounts will be updated every 30 days based on number of net tickets sold.

The new affiliate program was developed in association with international affiliate network company buy at, which will provide Ticketmaster with tracking, reporting and payment services.
