LiveNation.com Overhauled To Feature User-Gen, Social Media

LiveNation is taking the user-generated content route with a new site upgrade that allows fans and artists to upload information and content that will appear alongside the "official" details of the various tours the company promotes.

Artists will be able to upload details of their own concerts, for instance, which will appear with the artists LiveNation is promoting. Fans will be able to submit entries to artist-specific wiki pages, ratings and reviews, moderate Q&As and integrate their Twitter feed to the LiveNation site.

Additionally, the site is now integrated with Facebook Connect, enabling fans to share information between LiveNation.com and Facebook as well as ID friends who are logged into both sites.

Partners providing the new capabilities include Bazaaroice, Sociable and ThrillCall.
