Prince Launches Subscription Service

March 16, 2009

By By Antony Bruno, Denver

After a year of diligently working to scrub the Internet of all unauthorized related music, photos, video and any other content not offered directly from him, Prince has launched a new fan subscription service called Lotusflow3r.com.

For $77 a year, subscribers will get an as-yet-not-fully-outlined set of content that will include exclusive video, lyrics, artwork, photos, and of course, music. While not yet fully confirmed, the site also may include the potential for streaming live performances from his Los Angeles home - complete with song requests - and access to a vast array of previously unreleased music.

According to Newsweek, the site will go fully live March 24, and on March 29 offer digital albums of the new Prince album.
