Scott Francis Named Warner/Chappell President July 30, 2008

Scott Francis has been appointed to the newly created position of president of Warner/Chappell Music and chairman and CEO of Warner/Chappell Music U.S. He will report to Warner/Chappell Music chairman and CEO David H. Johnson and will be based in the company's U.S. headquarters in Los Angeles.
In his new role, Francis will run Warner Music Group Corp.'s U.S. publishing operations and will be key in Warner/Chappell's global business.
Previously, Francis served as president of BMG Music Publishing's Songs North America division. Before that, he was VP of business affairs and administration for Sony/ATV Music Publishing, where he oversaw the company's business and legal affairs in the U.S.
