Six Flags CEO Joins Live Nation Board November 18, 2008

Mark Shapiro, president and CEO of Six Flags, Inc., has joined Live Nation's board of directors.
"Mark's position at Six Flags gives him an unparalleled level of experience in consumer entertainment, brand building, sponsorship and marketing," said Michael Rapino, president and CEO of Live Nation. "He will be an important resource to us at Live Nation as we continue to shift into our role as a business-to-consumer operation."
Shapiro spent 12 years at ESPN before joining Six Flags in December 2005.
