Live Nation, iTunes To Offer Concert Videos
November 24, 2009 - Digital and Mobile | Touring

By Antony Bruno, Denver

Live Nation and iTunes are teaming up to sell downloadable concert footage. Under the deal, Live Nation will provide iTunes with exclusive downloadable videos of select concerts performed at more than 80 venues. These high-tech venues are wired for video and audio capture.

Artists in the first wave of performances include OK Go, Jesse McCartney, Saving Abel, A Fine Frenzy, Plain White T's and Ziggy Marley, with more to come in the following weeks. In support of the launch, Apple has created a special page in iTunes dedicated solely to the live recordings.
