Cohen Adds O2 Date

Leonard Cohen is extending his U.K. tour in November by adding a second night at at the O2 Arena.
The veteran Canadian singer songwriter will now play an 18,000-capacity show on Nov. 14 in addition to the Nov. 13 performance, which the promoter says sold out within 24 hours.
Cohen's comeback shows - including four nights at Manchester Opera House in June, concerts at Edinburgh Castle and the O2 Arena in July and appearances at Glastonbury and Big Chill festivals - received rave notices in the U.K. press. Cohen's first tour in 15 years launched in Canada at the Fredericton Playhouse in New Brunswick on May 11.
"London and the U.K. appear to have an insatiable appetite for this remarkable artiste," says AEG Live tour producer Rob Hallett.
He will be playing other previously announced November dates at Glasgow Clyde Arena, Cardiff International Arena, Bournemouth International Centre, Birmingham NEC and Brighton Centre. The next leg of the 32-date European tour begins Sept. 21 at Bucharest Arcul De Trumpf.
