Digital, Limited CD Release For Janina November 19, 2009

Universal Music Latino is releasing the new album by Puerto Rican singer Janina in an unusual combination of digital and physical formats. Janina’s self-titled third album will street Nov. 20, a Friday, in physical format in Puerto Rico alone via an exclusive three-month agreement with distributors Distribuidora Nacional. In the U.S., the album will be available in digital format Nov. 23.
Although Universal Music Latino has released digital-only albums before, this is the first time it experiments with the mixed format. Janina will have two in-stores in Wal-Marts in Puerto Rico and on Nov. 25 she kicks off a pub tour of the island sponsored by Cerveza Presidente. Janina’s core fan base is in her native Puerto Rico, where she won the first edition of reality show “Objetivo Fama” several years ago.
