UPDATED: Youngbloods Joins Sony BMG Suit
March 29, 2007 - Legal and Management | RB Hip-Hop

YOUNGBLOODZ
A suit was filed on March 23, by the Youngbloods — the 1960s rock band that included Jesse Colin Young — as part of the Cheap Trick/Allman Brothers class action suit against Sony BMG over ringtones and downloads.

Since the band already sued Sony BMG in February with the Allman Brother band, this new March 23 filing may only be a legal procedural requirement. Billboard.biz is checking it out.

Published reports that The Youngbloodz, the Altanta rap-duo that released four albums through La Face Records, sued Sony BMG for $50 million are incorrect.
