Beyonce Lines Up China Date

Beyonce will perform live in China for the first time at Shanghai's Grand Stage venue on Nov. 5.
Shanghai-based promoter Emma Ticketmaster today confirmed her appearance at the 9,000-capacity venue.
Emma "is very proud to introduce the world's top R&B female artist for her first performance ever in mainland China," said Emma Ticketmaster president/CEO Jonathan Krane in a statement. "Beyonce's Chinese fans are already very excited for the show in Shanghai, and we expect tickets to sell out quickly."
Other major international acts recently brought by Emma to China for live shows include Eric Clapton, Christina Aguilera and Avril Lavigne.
Emma Ticketmaster was formed when U.S-based concert-business giant Ticketmaster acquired a majority stake in Hong Kong-based Emma Entertainment Holdings HK Ltd in May this year.
