Coke, iTunes Team For 2 Billion Song Promo

Coca-Cola and Apple have teamed for a 2 billion song giveaway in Europe. The promotion, which the companies are calling the biggest ever in Europe, spans 17 countries and runs from May through the end of August.

To participate, consumers will redeem codes on specially marked Coke products for downloads via Apple's iTunes Music Store. The promotion will also offer customers a chance to win free iPods and free tickets to summer concerts sponsored by iTunes and Coke.

The promotion starts at France's Cannes Film Festival with a performance from Faithless.
