Berkowitz Named EMI N.A. Digital Senior VP May 22, 2007

EMI Music North America has named Lauren Berkowitz as its new senior VP of digital for the North American region. She reports to EMI North American head Roger Ames and Barney Wragg, global head of digital.
Berkowitz comes to EMI from Sony ATV Music Publishing, where she was VP of the global digital business. In her new role, she will lead all of EMI's digital business efforts in North America, including the much-publicized effort to strike licensing deals for DRM-free premium quality files such as that established with iTunes and Amazon.com.
