Starbucks Gets Dave Matthews' 'Live Trax' Exclusive

Starbucks has announced that it will be the exclusive distributor of Dave Matthews Band’s upcoming release, "Live Trax."
The compilation CD from Bama Rags/RCA will be available at U.S. and Canadian Starbucks locations July 31. Customers who sign up for a free trial of XM Radio Online will be eligible to win backstage passes and a meet-and-greet with the Dave Matthews Band at its Oct. 2 concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Dave Matthews Band has previously created several "Live Trax" discs available for purchase only at concerts and through the band's Web site. The current incarnation is the first to be available in a retail venue.
"Live Trax" features cuts from various Dave Matthews Band concerts, ranging from the group’s 1995 performance at the Meadow Brook Music Festival in Rochester Hills, Mich., to their March 2007 show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
