Christian Jorg is appointed senior VP, new media and commerce, for the Island Def Jam Music Group. In his new post, Jorg will oversee all of IDJ's business activities in the digital and mobile space. Based in New York, Jorg will report directly to Island Records president/IDJ COO Steve Bartels.
Jorg previously served as executive VP at Flycell, Inc., a direct-to-consumer mobile entertainment company. He started his career at Sony BMG Entertainment and has held several executive positions in the entertainment industry.
