Changes In Command At Century May 10, 2007

Los Angeles-based hard rock/metal label Century Media has undergone a management change. President Marco Barbieri has stepped down and is pursuing interests outside of the music industry.
Barbieri led the label through a period of unprecedented growth, overseeing the success of such acts as Shadows Fall and Lacuna Coil. The company is now being overseen by Brian Sharp, who has been Century's COO. Century has also brought in an outside consultant in Jim Martone, who will focus on new business development.
On the horizon from Century are new albums from Despised Icon, Arch Enemy and Behemoth.
