Miguel Makes Chart History With 'Complices'

Mexican crooner Luis Miguel has notched his eighth No. 1 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart with "Cómplices" (Warner Music Latina), giving him the crown for most No. 1's in the history of that chart. He was previously tied for first place with Marco Antonio Solis and Los Temerarios, with seven No. 1's each. Both Temerarios and Solis have albums due this summer.
"Cómplices," a set of songs written by composer Manuel Alejandro, was released coinciding with Mother's Day. The album sold 32,000 copies its first week, according to Nielsen Soundscan, which translated into Miguel's highest ever showing on the Billboard 200, as well (at No. 10), although not his best sales week ever.
