Wal-Mart will begin carrying HD radio receivers in almost 2,000 stores nationwide, the HD Radio Alliance said today. Initially, Wal-Mart will only offer the JVC HD-W10 in-vehicle receiver, which cost about $190.
In support of the rollout, the HD Radio Alliance will begin including the availability of HD radio products at Wal-Mart in its nationwide advertising campaign, which is now entering its second phase.
