Ozzy, Judas Priest, Tankian Set For Monsters Of Rock

Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Serj Tankian, Hatebreed, the Dillinger Escape Plan, Shadows Fall and Testament, among others, will perform as part of the Ozzy Osbourne Presents The Monsters of Rock festival, to be held July 26 at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, Alberta.
The all-day festival will also include performances from rock acts 3 Inches of Blood, Priestess, Cavalera Conspiracy, Zimmers Hole and Voivod, among others. The event is being produced by Goldenvoice, a division of AEG Live, and Alberta-based The Union.
This year's Monsters of Rock festival is not related to past events billed under the same name, The Union's Dave Johnston tells Billboard.biz.
Tickets for Ozzy Osbourne Presents The Monsters of Rock go on sale April 18 via ticketmaster.ca and unionevents.com, with prices ranging between $49.50 and $119.50. VIP packages will include express admission, a laminate pass, floor access and a private hospitality area.
In other Ozzy related news, organizers still haven't announced plans for this year's Ozzfest, but sources say the festival is expected to go out only in a limited run.
