MTV U.K. Reveals Oxegen Fest Broadcast Details July 09, 2009

MTV Networks U.K. has announced details of its coverage of Oxegen 2009, to be held at County Kildare's Punchestown Racecourse in Ireland from July 10 to 12.
As official broadcast partner for the 2009 event, MTV will feature performance footage and provide a glimpse into all the happenings backstage via its MTV Two, VH1 and Hits channels, as well as www.mtv.co.uk. MTV news presenters Laura Whitmore and Melvyn will also report on the festival.
Performances from the Oxegen Weekend will air July 31 to Aug. 2 on Hits, VH1 and MTV Two from 9pm. Highlights will be shown Aug. 3 to 7 during MTV Two's Oxegen Week.
Artists to appear this year include Blur, Kings of Leon, the Killers, Pet Shop Boys and Manic Street Preachers.
MTV has been associated with Oxegen since 2005, one year after the festival's inception.
