On the day of the launch of his new album “Cradlesong,” Rob Thomas has a new iPhone app—Fanbase Mobile.
The app aggregates all Thomas-related news, content, and other information available on the Web into one interface. It also allows fans to follow Thomas on Twitter, stream clips of the new album, leave the artist voicemail messages via SayNow, watch videos and chat with other fans. A future update will add Thomas-themed games, titled Inner Beauty and Reverse Barbershop.
Fanbase first emerged last year as a PC applications for several Atlantic Records artists. This is the first implementation as a mobile app.
