Indie booking group Transmission Entertainment has paired with online radio station and independent music network Little Radio for a pair of new Web sites.
Littleradio.com and Transmissionentertainment.com will provide platforms for artists to submit their own music as well as tools for fans to get in touch with these artists by giving them access to downloadable music, live content and blogging abilities. In addition, the site will act as a database, featuring articles about the music industry, touring, radio and more.
Fans will be able to subscribe to RSS feeds for their favorite venues, check live events calendars and upload their own photos. The sites will also sell tickets to concerts and festivals.
Last year, Transmission's Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin was nominated for festival of the year at the Plug Awards.
