U.K. soul singer Mica Paris will mark the first anniversary of the World Duty Free store opening in London Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5.
Paris will give three performances during the afternoon tomorrow (March 26), at 12.30pm, 3pm and 4.30pm. Each set will also be played out live throughout the World Duty Free stores in T5 on giant digital HD screens across five locations.
The WDF digital media concept was launched last September, with a performance by emerging pop-folk artist Ela Soza. Paris' performance will be combined with a promotion for Grey Goose vodka and Godiva chocolate; WDF says the music performances offer showcase opportunities for artists and sponsorship options for brand partners.
"Our hi-definition digital feature walls not only provide a great platform for performers, but also provide opportunities for our key business partners to sponsor future acts, whilst offering them an innovative and high profile showcase for their brands," said Sue Gosling, head of digital media at WDF, in a statement.
