Macky, Meiler Join Nashville Indie Stroudavarious January 18, 2009

Veteran promotion man Bill Macky joins Nashville independent label Stroudavarious Records as VP of national promotion. As previously reported, Macky recently exited 1720 Entertainment, where he held a similar position.
Reporting to veteran Nashville executive Bill Catino, who serves as a consultant to Stroudavarious, Macky has also held executive promotion posts with Epic Records Nashville and MCA Records Nashville.
Meanwhile, Pepper Meiler joins Stroudavarious and sister label Country Crossing Records as director of online marketing and product management.
Meiler, who held the same title at Equity Music Group after working in sales and marketing at Sony Music Nashville, will report to VP of marketing and artist development Derek Simon.
"Pepper's extensive experience and attention to detail will be incredibly beneficial to the growth and development of Stroudavarious and Country Crossing Records," Simon, who worked with her at Equity, said in a prepared statement. "We're very fortunate to have her as part of our team."
Veteran producer and label executive James Stroud launched Stroudavarious and Country Crossing, both of which are distributed by Sony RED, last year.
